Paid Program/Camp Ministries Internship May 2021

CRISTA Camps 12 month Internship is for you!

CRISTA Camps, set in the stunning forests of the Olympic Peninsula, brings fun and adventure to the young and young-at-heart. With two unique properties at Island Lake and Miracle Ranch, each award-winning camp welcomes guests with a one-of-a-kind experience, connecting them with nature through activities like swimming, archery, paintball, horses, dirt bikes and high ropes adventures.

You will have the opportunity to learn hands on about retail, marketing, sales, staff recruitment, housekeeping, and guest services. You will be trained to lead adventure activities, like high ropes, paintball, dirt-bike trail riding, horse trail riding, and running the waterfront.

You will have the opportunity to gain training and certification in:

- Dirt bike Trail Riding
- Paintball
- Lifeguard certification, good for 2 yrs.
- First Aid and CPR training
- Level 1 Adventure Course Certification
- Food handlers permit

Gain the experience you need to lead and run a year round camp ministry.

At CRISTA Ministries we have a passion to develop young leaders. Our desire is to help you fulfill God's calling in your life, whether that is full time camping ministry, or some other vocational calling. Our Internship Department has two full time staff that are specifically devoted to your vocational development and spiritual growth.

As part of your professional development we will help you with resume writing, interviewing tips, social media presence and CCCA connections. Our goal is to not "use you" for 12 months and then say goodbye, but we desire to walk alone side of you for the long haul. Our Internship Department will continue to be a resource for you long after your time here at CRISTA Camps is over.

The 12 month paid CRISTA Camps intern program is designed for people who are deeply committed to Jesus Christ and desire to learn about creating and providing an environment where staff, volunteers, and guests can experience Christ.

2021/2022 Applications are now being accepted for our May 1, 2021 start date!

We believe this will be a life-changing experience where each intern will grow spiritually, personally, relationally, and professionally! You will come away more energized, trained and prepared for a lifetime of service. This is an action-oriented Vocational Internship, providing opportunities to develop servant leadership skills that will transfer to any future business, leadership or ministry opportunity.

CRISTA Camps is committed to making the year-round internship both challenging and rewarding. Much will be asked of you and much will be invested into you as we serve Christ in a community of believers.

Interns will be involved in Bible studies, small groups, worship, sharing and fellowship, all while living and practicing servant leadership at our two camp properties. Interns must be willing to commit to all aspects of the program which will focus on Christ, discipleship, community and career.
