Ministry Staff

Dickson Valley Camp & Retreat Center has an opportunity available in May for a Ministry Staff position. This is a 12-month program that allows individuals to gain experience in many areas and prepare them for service in a broad range of full time ministry positions. Some of those areas include hosting retreat groups, leading program activities, helping with buildings and grounds, improving and developing program activities, help in housekeeping, planning and preparing for the summer, and assisting in the leadership of the summer program. Through the 12 months the Ministry Staff will gain leadership skills, with mentoring from three full time staff, to prepare them for a future career in full time ministry.

Requirements: Must have a personal relationship with Jesus Christ, have a heart to serve and minister to people, have a solid work ethic, be flexible, be punctual, eager to learn, patient, and at least 1 year at college.

Benefits: A $13,000 stipend, paid bi-monthly for the 12 month term, free housing, free food when the kitchen is serving meals, and worker’s compensation coverage. No health insurance is provided.
