Horse Camp Counselor

POSITION SUMMARY

Responsible to ensure safety and promote spiritual growth of the campers through activities and personal example, for the Horse Camp of Palomar Christian Conference Center.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLIITES

1) Attend all devotional and Bible study meetings.
2) Teaches at assigned campfires.
3) Assist campers with their personal devotionals and materials.
4) Assist campers in daily activities as needed.
5) Responsible for the campers’ care, safety, and well being.
6) Responsible for camper supervision 24 hours a day while on duty.
7) Looks for and makes use of teachable moments.
8) Keep campers on schedule and arriving on time to all activities.
9) Prays for the campers.
10) Assists in the mentoring of the wranglers in training.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Has a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Demonstrates personal faith through consistent daily living in accordance to God’s Word.
• Understands the mission of PCCC and submits all other goals and desires to that main goal.
• Ensures that she could lead/introduce campers to Jesus Christ as Savior.
• Possesses good customer service skills and presents a professional appearance and manner.
• Possesses strong attention to detail and organization while managing multiple priorities.
• Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs.
• First Aid and CPR certified. (will train)
• Experience and enjoys working with girls.
• Able to lead and direct youth.
