The Horsemanship Coordinator is responsible for all horse-related programs and activities including care of horses and equipment, safety of participants, execution of activities and supervision of all horsemanship staff. The Horsemanship Coordinator must have experience working with and riding horses and be able to teach others. This person must be physically capable of riding horses, lifting saddles and equipment, helping campers on and off the horses and moving hay. Working hours begin early and may continue late into the night. It may be necessary to react quickly in an emergency and provide first aid care. Must be CHA certified or we will pay for CHA certification. They will provide general care for horses, as well as direct trail rides on a daily basis.
