Fall Ministry Team

Join us for a great fall of Christ-centered ministry at Riverside! The important purpose of this position is to carry out the mission of Riverside, “To know Jesus Christ and to make Christ known to all” by leading programmed retreats with our program team and serving in a variety of capacities on our hospitality
team.

Qualifications?
*Disciple of Jesus Christ.
*A leader who demonstrates a consistent life of integrity and humility (1 Timothy 3:1-12 and Titus 1:6-9).
*Embraces Riverside’s Mission, Core Values, and Statement of Faith.
*Committed to the Biblical design for ministry leaders to equip God’s people to do His work (Ephesians 4:11-13).
*Willingness to be taught, coached and equipped for the work you are called to do.
*Passion for camping ministry and understanding of the importance of partnering with the ministry of the local church.
*Available to serve September through mid-December

Responsibilities Include:
*Be a relational and hospitable leader that seeks to know Jesus Christ and make Christ known to all people.
*Lead a variety of activities for guest groups and programmed retreats, including: zip line, challenge course, camp store, coffee/smoothie shop, canoe/kayaking and others.
*Provide radical hospitality to all of our groups by helping serve as a Retreat Host on a rotating basis.
*Be an important member of our program team in helping to create and lead excellent programming for the fall retreats we lead.
*Be an important member of our hospitality team by selflessly serving in areas of food service and light maintenance.
*Other duties as needed.

Position Hours and Schedule Include:
*The contract for this position will end on December 21, 2024.
*This position is hourly pay and set to be 40 hours per week
*This position also includes onsite housing with an individual room and shared common space for team members.
*We are seeking applicants to start as soon as possible to help us lead a great fall of excellent, Christ-centered ministry experiences.

To help create that environment for our full time year around team, here are some ways that we intentionally do this: *Aim for a 40 hour work week for healthy work/rest rhythm. *A Day Away each month (September-May), intentionally set aside to be out of the office and simply spend time with the Lord (during the work day). *24-48 hour Silent Retreat once a year, an extended time set apart for you to be alone with the Lord in solitude and be refreshed. *Intentional Discipling, desiring every staff member to meet one-on-one with a person to pray for them, encourage them, study scripture together, and point them to Jesus as part of your work day once every other week.
