Outdoor Education RN

The Mission Springs Outdoor Education Nurse is responsible for the care and supervision of all medical services. This includes administering medication, communicating with the Outdoor Education Director and on-site visiting teachers, organization of medical information and medications, and keeping records of student visits.

Status: Non-exempt; part-time

Pay: $25-$35 per hour

Reports to: Director of Mission Springs Outdoor Education

1. Licensed as a registered nurse in the state of California
2. Current CPR and First Aid certifications
3. Experience working with children and youth (preferred)
4. Ability to maintain paperwork
5. Ability to maintain and administer medications
6. Ability to make decisions and take initiative under pressure
7. Good communication skills
