Director of Maintenance

This position is responsible for the maintenance of facilities and grounds and reports to the Chief Administrative Officer. Onsite housing is required for this position.

The areas of responsibility include, but are not limited to the following:
• Supervise and schedule maintenance staff and projects
• Provide training for maintenance staff
o Maintenance skills and procedures
o Safety procedures
o Continuing education
• Be available for after-hour maintenance emergencies
• Operation of the water treatment plant
o Oversee maintenance and operation of plant, waterlines, pipes, valves and fittings throughout Lakeview
o Collect and submit water samples
o Prepare reports and permits as required by TCEQ
• Operation of the waste water treatment plant
o Oversee maintenance and operation of plant, sewer lines and equipment
o Collect and submit water samples
o Prepare reports and permits as required by TCEQ
• Maintain master gas meter
o Oversee maintenance of Lakeview gas lines
o Perform routine checks as required by Railroad Commission
• Solid waste disposal
• Maintenance of all Lakeview facilities
o Oversee all maintenance repairs
o Preventative maintenance
o Planned maintenance schedules
o Lake and dock maintenance
o Trail maintenance
o Complete and submit compliance reports
• Meeting room cleaning and set up for groups
• Landscaping and grounds
o Maintain attractive grounds through mowing, weed eating, weed control
o Oversee trimming of trees and shrubs
o Maintain sprinkler systems
• Oversee maintenance of Lakeview vehicles and equipment
• Work with volunteer groups
• Other tasks and duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualified applicants must have:
• Extensive knowledge and experience in the following areas: (Please provide any current licenses)
o HVAC
o Electrical
o Plumbing
o Carpentry Experience
• Experience supervising staff and the ability to lead by example in a Christian manner
• Clear communication skills and ability to work with other department leaders
• Organizational skills to maintain projects, inventory, and reports
• Class D water and waste water operation certification or ability to obtain (Training Available)
