Food Service Manager

Big Sandy Camp & Retreat Center (Camp), a subsidiary non-profit corporation of the North Central District of The Christian & Missionary Alliance (C&MA), is looking for an individual to fill the role of Food Service Manager. This is a year-round, full-time, salaried position.

We are located 14 miles northeast of McGregor, Minnesota on beautiful Big Sandy Lake in northern Minnesota. We have a large commercial kitchen, dining room, serving area, and Snack Shop for our food service areas.

We are looking for candidates that are committed to be a part of the Camp’s full-time staff team to accomplish our mission of Jesus Christ “touching hearts and changing lives.”

Interested candidates should be able to lead the food service areas (kitchen, serving area, dining room, and Snack Shop) along with seasonal staff and volunteers. They should be able to manage time well, plan menus, place orders in a timely fashion, prepare for a week or weekend event, cook, and keep the food service areas clean.

We have a summer season filled with summer camps (programmed and rental groups) during the months of June through August. We have a second season between September and May filled with retreats on the weekends – both programmed and rental groups).
