Developmental Disabilities Ministries Coordinator

General Description: Do you love Jesus and have a passion to serve the disabilities community? Do you thrive on networking and bringing people together to meet needs? The Disabilities Ministry Coordinator facilitates ministry to persons with developmental disabilities along three lines. First, they build relationships with agencies and other groups that support persons with disabilities and their families, seeking ways to build program partnerships. Secondly, this position develops and leads programs that directly serve persons with developmental disabilities. Thirdly, this position coordinates vocational placement for persons with developmental disabilities at Warm Beach Camp. These partnerships and programs will be at Warm Beach Camp and eventually at Black Diamond Camp.

General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on Warm Beach Camp Ministries staff, we are looking for someone with a passion for helping persons with developmental disabilities. A person who thrives in this role gains energy from connecting with others, builds a healthy team, follows through consistently, maintains a positive mental outlook, communicates well and is able to turn concepts into reality.

Specifics & Compensation: This position will begin as soon as filled. This is a year-round, full-time, hourly position. Pay range will be $21.26 to $23.65/hour DOE. On campus housing may be available. Please visit our website for more information.
