Program Director

Primary Purpose
The primary purpose of this position is to work closely with the Executive Director to create, execute, and lead a variety of programs, events, and activities that are in alignment with The Camp At Findley mission. Additionally, the Program Director will assist in the recruiting and hiring of summer camp staff and building and leading the summer camp program.

Summer Camp
Work with the Executive Director to compile job applications and job descriptions for summer camp positions
Attend a variety of college job fairs, community events, and other events to promote camp and recruit summer staff
Help lead summer staff training
Disciple and mentor summer camp staff
Oversee camp store and store staffing
Create summer camp theme
Oversee camp worship team

Retreats
Help plan and host all camp retreats
Assist the Marketing Committee with marketing materials and recruitment

Networking
Create and build relationships with supporting churches and youth groups
Maintain relationships with churches, campers, and guests

Other Responsibilities
Assist with planning and hosting all other camp events (Spring Thing, Awake! Findley Lake, garage sale, etc.)
Strategize and plan other events and future needed programming
Perform other duties as needed

Qualifications and Requirements
Must have experience in youth ministry or camp ministry
Preferred college degree in related field
A personal relationship with Jesus
Acknowledge and agree to The Camp at Findley’s mission
Embody biblical servant leadership
Mature leader, capable, and organized person
Ability to accept guidance, supervision, and work with others
Must be willing to live at camp during summer season
Have excellent oral and written communication skills
Be self-motivated and manage time well
Ability to problem solve
Team oriented

Supervisory Leadership
This position operates under the supervision of the Executive Director of The Camp at Findley.

Time:  Full-Time Year Round
Salary:  Paid - Must Raise Partial Support
