Summer Experience Team Member

Lifeguard duties
a. Oversee swimmer safety during scheduled pool times
b. Complete daily pool chemical testing
c. Ensure safety and location of aquatics and rescue equipment
d. Clean pool and pool area
e. Practice life-saving techniques and procedures on a regular basis
High Adventure programming
a. Instruct guests on use of adventure equipment
b. Facilitate experiences on High Ropes, Zip Line, and Climbing Wall
c. Complete safety inspections of equipment and facilities
d. Perform rescues of guests in need of assistance
Be familiar with and able to facilitate all programming aspects of the Heartland summer camp program. Including but not limited to:
a. Archery, Wilderness Rush, Paintball, Tie Dye, Living History, Nature Center, and more
b. Building and maintaining professional/quality relationships with camp staff and campers
c. Maintenance of program equipment and supplies
Clean restrooms
Help maintain the nature center
Participate in staff trainings when necessary
Assist other departments as needed
