Work experience: Experience in senior management including five or more years of supervisory experience. At least 3 years’ experience providing financial oversight and management to multi-million-dollar programs/projects. Administrative capacity knowledge of youth camp operations, experiential and expeditionary programs.

Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:

1. Institute a program, fiscal, and human resource management structure that provides effective management and oversight of all program areas and fiduciary responsibilities.

2. Develop and implement a marketing and recruitment strategy for year-round occupancy.

3. Participate in service expansion planning, budget preparations and long and short-term program development for SCR.

4. Develop strategic growth plans to incorporate new programming options inclusive of experiential and expeditionary program options.

5. Develop and manage annual budgets, ensuring monthly and quarterly monitoring; explain and/or correct discrepancies and variances.

6. Develop operational protocols and reports for compliance with all applicable contracts and regulations.

7. Maintain appropriate staffing levels to cover all programs and seasonal influxes, including recruitment and retention efforts.

8. Ensure all staff, consultants, and contractors engaged in the delivery of program services have sufficient knowledge, training, experience, and competencies to fulfill the roles and responsibilities of their positions.

Other Responsibilities:

1. Ensure maintenance of site for full operational capacity.

2. Evaluate program compliance with government licensing and regulations, grant and contract requirements, and agency policies and standards.

2. Strong written and oral communication skills to inspire, grow, manage, and coach a high-performing program.

3. Professional interpersonal and presentation skills to support all stakeholders, including internal and external constituents.

4. Strong “people acumen” and knowledge of human resources policy requirements and personnel management strategies.

5. Ability to organize and prioritize duties and responsibilities efficiently.

6. Ability to balance an innovative and entrepreneurial approach to business development with sound business practices.

7. Ability to work independently.
