We are a retreat and training center on Santa Catalina Island. CBS is twenty-six miles off the coast from Los Angeles and three miles north of the town of Avalon. We are only accessible by boat and CBS provides guests the opportunity to step away from life's busyness and experience God's rest. Most of our employees live in shared housing separated by gender, with occasional opportunities for couple's housing. PLEASE NOTE: On some occasions only shared housing is available for a specific gender. As part of our commitment to living together here at CBS, we participate in regular activities together that are outside of normal work responsibilities.
