Camp Director

Cedar Springs Camp is a place where people can come to grow in their walk with God, to build new or deepen relationships with others, get away from it all while having fun through comfortable lodging, purposeful meeting areas, great food, and awesome activities!

Cedar Springs Camp is located in North Eastern Iowa just a couple hours from the Twin Cities. It is surrounded on three sides by the Cedar River, nestled in a beautiful forest setting perfect for any retreat, camp, or gathering. We have a variety of fun activities from river tubing/canoeing/kayaking, to paintball, to waterslide, winter tubing, and more! We host groups from 5-160 in a variety of comfortable lodging options and have meeting rooms for any group!

The Camp Director will oversee day to day operations of the camp including oversight of all facilities and personnel to accomplish our mission while maintaining consistent policies, processes, and programming of Cedar Springs Camp while working to expand the reach of our ministry by attracting exceptional people to serve in the ministry, new campers/guests to utilize our facility, and develop innovative ways to better and more fully accomplish our vision and mission through people, our facilities, and our offered experience. Our goal is to provide and environment where people can experience Jesus, fellowship, and grow as individuals in a residential camp and retreat atmosphere.

This is a critical role to fulfilling the mission of CSC and requires exceptional organizational, interpersonal, management and administrative skills, as well as a hands-on approach to operations at camp. This position will require an exceptional ability to take initiative to anticipate and solve problems to maintain the operations of Cedar Springs Camp while remaining flexible, proactive, resourceful, and efficient.

This is a management AND hands on position. As a part of a growing staff, both personnel oversight and being an integral worker in these areas will be necessary.

The Camp Director is accountable to the Executive Director.
