Indiana Overnight Operations Site Leader

The Indiana Overnight (INON) Operations Site Leader is responsible to directly assist the INON Director of Operations in providing an incredible SpringHill experience to all guests through leading the overall operations of our safe and gospel-centered experience. The INON Operations Site Leader trains, inspires and leads a team of Summer Leaders to help accomplish the goal of serving children well, while growing and developing the next generation of Kingdom leaders.

Key Job Functions
•Lead and manage the implementation camp operations and systems to ensure an incredible summer camp experience. The operations and systems include registration, opening/closing day, health services, and guest services, Trading Post, lost & found, mail and cleaning
•Responsible to manage the performance, culture and experience of a team of Summer Leaders (spiritually, professionally, and personally)
•Responsible for the retention of Summer Leaders
•Ability to identify key leaders for future opportunities
•Manage the risk and safety of campers and staff
•Understand, maintain, and steward the INON budget
•Complete other duties as assigned by the Indiana Director of Operations

Experience and Qualifications Requirements
•Commitment to the mission and ministry philosophy of SpringHill
•Bachelor’s Degree preferred
•Demonstrated experience in ministry or related field
•Previous experience in effectively leading people
•Self-starter who is highly motivated and able to work unsupervised for extended periods of time
•Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills required
•Effective problem-solving skills and ability to make sound decisions

Working Conditions and Physical Requirements
•Must be able to lift, bend, and twist
•Ability to push and pull loads
•Must be able to lift frequently up to 35 lbs.; occasionally 35-100 lbs. with assistance
•Good hand-eye coordination
