Summer Horsemanship Instructor
Serving on staff at Timberlake is one of the most rewarding things you'll ever do. While it may mean early mornings and late nights, long talks with campers, and an exercise in patience, if you offer up your summer as a sacrifice to the living God, He will not hesitate to reward you richly. He’ll give you more of what you need than you could ever ask or imagine.
Each summer, high school, and college-aged students serve on staff at Timberlake. Staff members are selected based on their high motivation, love for God, willingness to have fun, and desire to serve others. College-age staff usually serve for the entire summer season and are paid a weekly stipend plus room and board.
Horsemanship Instructors are responsible for the safe facilitation of all horse-related activities and lessons. They teach riding lessons for our horsemanship campers, lead trail rides for guests and campers, care for the horses, and keep the barn tidy.
Previous experience horse experience is required.
