Youth Programs Associate
Mission: Prayerfully develop and creatively implement programming that inspires youth to a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Specifics: Two Associates will work with the Youth Programs Team to focus on summer and school-year programming. Summer programming includes 10 weeks of camp for grades 2-12. School-year programming includes break camps in fall, winter, and spring, along with the potential to add after-school programming and special events for grades 2-12.
Associates Program: This two-year program is designed for career-ready young adults looking to launch their career in a vibrant ministry setting. Associates will invest in SAMBICA while SAMBICA develops them through professional work, exploration of calling, mentoring, and building up their community both inside and outside of SAMBICA. This is a full-time position with salary and benefits provided. Associates will have a primary professional focus, while also contributing around 20% of their time to support other areas of camp.
Accountabilities...
Summer Planning: Work with Youth Programs Team to be summer-ready May 1st. This includes event planning, curriculum creation, theme development, schedule strategy, etc. School-year Programming: Create, plan, and implement opportunities for engagement of all camper ages (grades 2-12) on a monthly basis. Help Camp Run: Joyfully contribute 20% of your time, roughly one day per week, supporting other areas of camp (Facilities, Business Administration, Hospitality, Housekeeping, etc.) Summer Role: Take on a significant leadership role within our summer team. Specifics to be defined during the year.

Creative Planning and Execution: Skilled at thinking outside the box, adapting, and working a creative plan from start to finish –planning, marketing, registration, staffing, setup, execution, clean up, and debriefing. Own it! Communication: Excellent personal, written, and verbal communication skills.
Qualifications...
Agreement with and willingness to sign SAMBICA’s statement of faith. Bachelor’s degree preferred, or demonstrated career readiness. Flexibility in potential shared housing situations.
