Assistant Cook

Food Services volunteer role is challenging and filled with exciting opportunities to support, encourage, and disciple our guests and other staff/volunteers. Spend your time learning kitchen skills, serving God, and fueling life-changing adventures!

Responsibilities include assisting the Food Services Directors in upholding Camp Bighorn policies, developing new recipes, occasionally serving as "head cook," providing instructions to summer volunteers, preparing food, cleaning up after meals, and washing dishes.

All assistant cooks are eligible for free lodging in a dorm like setting and free meals when food service is running. We also work to get all volunteers adventure opportunities such as rock climbing, rafting, and more.
