Year-Round Intern

A Trout Creek Bible Camp internship is an incredible opportunity to learn and grow in the context of meaningful Christ-centered community. Interns get the chance to make life-long friends while serving and training as leaders in camp ministry. Our focus on intentional discipleship also allows interns to discover new depths in their relationship with God, learning more about themselves in the process. Interns participate in the day-to-day running of the camp, learning new skills and gaining relevant certifications. They also get to experience valuable conferences, courses, backpacking trips, spiritual formation retreats, and above all, life-changing relationships with God and others.

All Interns are volunteers. However, the following compensations are provided:
* Free onsite housing
* Free meals at the camp
* Small monthly honorarium to cover basic needs
* Free access to camp ministry conferences, courses, retreats, and discipleship curriculum
* Relevant certifications
* Possible college credit depending on school

Located just east of Portland, OR, Trout Creek Bible Camp is perfectly situated to experience the best that the Pacific Northwest has to offer!

Why work at Trout Creek Bible Camp:

Established in 1945, Trout Creek Bible Camp has been part of the life-changing work of Jesus for nearly 80 years! Over the decades, countless campers and staff have had transforming experiences of Christ and community, and we look forward to many more to come. Join our team and be a part of the Gospel in action! Here are what some of our staff are saying about their time at TCBC: "Camp has changed my life. God exists and moves everywhere on this earth, but something definitely feels special about this place." - Flip, Guy Counselor "TCBC made me want to read my Bible more, and now, even after camp, I am reading the Bible on my own time, which I never used to do." - Beanie, Guy Rec Staff "I loved the amazing nurses I worked with. I loved being able to show God's love to campers when they were hurting. Sometimes it was just giving an otter-pop to a camper with an upset tummy, cleaning out a scraped knee, or even sitting and coloring with them while they where homesick." - Tinkerbell, Camp Nurse "The seeds you are planting in kids' lives cannot be done anywhere else. You get to build long-lasting eternal relationships with campers and staff that you can have here on Earth and in heaven someday! This is a bigger investment compared to making money working a summer job." - Squints, Guy Counselor "One of my favorite things about Trout Creek is the community. Campers are always so excited to come to camp and the staff are so loving and caring." - Jiminy, Girl Counselor "It's a community of people who really love Jesus and want to serve him by serving kids. It's an incredible experience and I can guarantee that God will use it to change your life." Cha Cha, Guy Counselor
