We are looking for someone with a strong work ethic and a desire to live and work in a close community to serve in the much-needed role of Summer Recruiting Assistant. JOB DESCRIPTION
? Title: Summer Recruiting Assistant
? Department: Recruiting
? Reports To: Recruiting Manager
Job Purpose: This is a part-time, summer position with responsibility to assist in on-site recruiting and helping schedule future recruiting trips and strategies in order to hire quality college-aged summer staffers for summer 2021. These college-aged students play a large role in our ministry and are the backbone of what we do. This position will play a key role in furthering the development of our recruiting department as well as our current summer staff.

The average number of hours per week will vary depending on the needs of other summer programs.

Job: Responsibilities
? Plan, implement and engage in recruiting trips.
? Work closely with recruiting team to maintain and further growth of the recruiting
department.
? Assist in setting up recruiting trips, make connections with current summer staff, and document all activity in salesforce and monday.com.
? Conduct many phone calls and emails to universities and college ministries.
? Assist in job postings online.
? Assist in on-site recruiting, building relationships with guests, and getting the word out to high school students about service team and summer staff positions.
? Implement an effective social media strategy.
? Assisting in retaining staff by mentorship and problem-solving skills in the Glorieta staff handbook.
? Work closely with other areas of camp to fill in holes when needed. These may include:
Housekeeping, Kitchen, Dishwashing, Retail, etc.
Other Duties of ALL Glorieta Staff: Summer is our busiest time of year and means all hands on deck. Additional tasks will likely include cooking, cleaning, facilitating group activities, running retail locations, and work projects as needed.

The Summer Recruiting Assistant will have a vibrant relationship with Jesus Christ as expressed in the conservative, evangelical Christian faith; a willing, hard working, and growth-oriented attitude; be above reproach in all areas of life; be a forward thinker and team player; a love for youth, children and families and a desire for their spiritual formations; as well as possessing:
? Ability to encourage, and get along with a variety of people simultaneously and
communicate well with team members, staff, and guests.
? Must have proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel, their Google counterparts, Google Drive, and Gmail.
? Willingness to perform routine tasks regularly and on time, with deadlines weekly and monthly for most tasks.
? A strong desire to learn new things quickly.
? A strong sense of self-motivation accompanied by a good work ethic is a must.
? A personal relationship with Christ that permeates all aspects of their life.
? Have a natural ability or strong desire for organization.
? Have a desire to mentor current staff and push all people towards Jesus.

Work Context: This job will be performed primarily on location at Glorieta, New Mexico.
Physical Demands: Ability to lift 60 lbs, sit in office, hike, stand all day, bend, squat, be willing to get your hands dirty.
Work Environment: Most work will be done indoors.
Training: Most training will happen during the first few weeks.
Compensation: $2000 for the summer before taxes, lodging and meals included.
