To provide audio-visual assistance to Forest Home Guest Groups and Program Events as requested.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provides audio-visual equipment to guest and meeting rooms (overhead projectors, DVD/TV’s, PA systems, etc.)
Operates AV equipment for Program events to the standards of the Program department.
Conducts the proper setup, operation, and tear-down of all media equipment.
Assists Guest Conferences with guest group AV needs.
Checks with guests to ensure smooth audio-visual experience periodically.
Reports any repair and/or replacement needs of AV equipment.
Responsible for proper use and care of AV equipment, tools, and inventory.
Responsible for safety (clear egresses, etc.) and cleanliness of meeting venues.
Actively supports and participates in the staff spiritual life activities.
Performs other duties as assigned.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Working towards High school diploma or equivalent.
Must have some experience working with audio-visual equipment including DVD/TV’s, projectors, PA systems, etc.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, sit, and requires sufficient hand, arm, and finger dexterity to operate office machines. Requires mild physical work; some lifting, pushing, or pulling of objects over 20 pounds. Requires visual acuity to read words and numbers and speaking and hearing ability sufficient to communicate in person or over the phone.

WORK ENVIRONMENT: The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job. Work involves moderate exposure to unusual elements such as extreme temperatures, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate but can be loud at times.
