Primary Purpose: Our desire is that Covenant Harbor is always clean, well-kept and well cared for. Our housekeepers support the goals and ministry of Covenant Harbor by ensuring that high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness are maintained throughout Covenant Harbor grounds.
-Work with the housekeeping team to ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and tidiness in all sleeping cabins, retreat center rooms, and public areas.
-Follow the schedule of tasks to be completed on a daily basis due to camp needs set by the GSC.
-Continuously seek and make improvements to the overall housekeeping functions.
-Maintain supply levels, orderly supply closets, housekeeping vehicle, & housekeeping home base along with the other housekeeping staff.
-Fill out requisition forms as needed.
-Deep clean buildings during off-season and as needed.
-Special projects as outlined by the GSC.
-Attend staff training sessions and meetings as needed.
-Carpet and floor deep cleaning as needed.

-Support the mission of Covenant Harbor as found in the employee handbook.
-Personal maturity, sound judgment, motivation, and integrity.
-Desire and willingness to work as a team within Housekeeping and other departments.
-Able to perform daily cleaning duties including but not limited to: scrubbing floors, ascend/descend ladders, making beds, vacuuming and dusting.
-Able to safely handle and use cleaning chemicals.
-Must be 18 years old.
-Minimum of a high school diploma.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
-Must be available to work weekdays, weekends, and some holidays.
-Bi-lingual is a plus.
Position Type: Part-Time Hourly (Nonexempt)
