Executive Director of Camp

Covenant Cedars Bible Camp, a year-round Christian Camp and Conference Center, is seeking an Executive Director. Covenant Cedars Bible Camp “exists to provide a Christian camping environment in which those who are not yet believers will be introduced to Jesus Christ and those who are believers will be encouraged to grow in their relationship with Him”. Located amid fertile cropland and picturesque pastures near the Platte River in central Nebraska, Covenant Cedars was established in 1949 and is affiliated with the Midwest Conference of the Evangelical Covenant Church. CCBC provides youth camps for 1st through 12th grade, as well as offering a unique location for retreats, outdoor education programs, and conference events. Covenant Cedars is a member of the Christian Camp and Conference Association. CCBC boasts a new office building, modern cabins, chapel, retreat center, large dining facility, large activities building, new summer staff housing, private lake with manicured sand beach, rock wall, zip line, outdoor pool, sports field, hiking trail, ropes challenge courses, and ample space to relax, be alone, or play. The Executive Director sets salaries, disciplines, and is charged with hiring or release of camp staff. This must always be done in a Christ-Like manner, always with the best interest of the Camp personnel in mind.

The Executive Director must be an excellent communicator, both written and verbal. Sensitivity when working with staff members is of paramount importance.
