Journey Administration and Marketing Manager

Summary:
The Journey Administration and Marketing Manager will be responsible for maintaining online marketing listings and a social media presence. They will also book face-to-face marketing opportunities for staff to share about Journey Gap Year. They will also have administrative responsibilities, such as ordering supplies, coordinating logistics for special events, communicating student schedules, and assisting the Journey Director(s) with other details as needed. This person will be another influencing presence in the lives of the gap year students throughout the year.

Specific Responsibilities:
-Updating online recruiting listings and responding to student inquiries
-Maintain social media presence, marketing and recruiting
-Booking marketing/recruiting opportunities at conferences, churches, youth groups, etc.
-Ordering supplies for students and staff as needed
-Maintaining communication with new students before arrival to the program (such as welcome letter, packing list, etc.)
-Updating weekly student schedule and chore assignments
-Coordinating staff for family nights
-Assist Journey Director(s) with coordinating food, housing, transportation, for practicums and retreats
-Assist Journey Director(s) with coordinating flights, transportation, housing, travel insurance, etc. for Mexico trip

General Responsibilities:
-Keep a pulse on the student environment and dynamics
-Assist in recruiting future students
-Teach in chapel on a rotating basis
-Assist with planning and implementing special activities, such as retreats
-Attend Journey staff meetings
-Empower students to take responsibility and leadership

Bighorn Staff Expectations:
- Be proactive in physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
- Be open to working collaboratively.
- Expected to invest in relationships with fellow staff, campers, students and interns.
- Commit to raising the salary amount decided on through budget planning with Mobilization Director.
- Assist with dishes, cabin cleaning, and work days when appropriate.
-Is willing to learn, loves people of all ages and has a consistent devotional life.

Time:  Part-Time Year Round
