Facilities Manager

Mission: To present a clean and hospital environment enabling guests to feel welcome and valued.

General Responsibilities:
-Oversee the cleaning and maintenance of all Camp buildings.
-Manage routine upkeep of exterior areas: doorways, exterior windows etc.
-Ensure that cabins and lodge are clean and ready when guests arrive.
-Complete non-routine walk around inspections and routine cleaning schedules.
-Remove garbage daily if necessary.
-Handle emergency cleaning and upkeep requests.
-Pick up after guests, maintaining an atmosphere of cleanliness and readiness.
-Communicate any physical maintenance repair to the Operations Director that is needed beyond the realm of Facility Management.
-Assist all other areas of Ops as needed

Specific Responsibilities:
-Develop a schedule for cleaning cabins and other buildings.
-Initiate and oversee Lodge "turn around," and oversee the weekly "turn around" of cabins during summer.
-Communicate with Admin when cabins have been cleaned and are ready to use.
-Maintain all battery operated equipment in buildings including fire/smoke alarms, paper towel/soap dispensers.
-Laundry, bedding
-Ensure bathrooms are stocked and clean on a daily basis.
-Facility Manager is not responsible for ordering, but must communicate supply needs to the Operations Director in a timely fashion in order to keep supplies on hand and available.
-Keeping Lodge fireplaces clean free of debris inside & outside
-Maintain walkways between buildings
-Maintain lodge fireplace and wood supply
-Help oversee summer staff Ops crew when needed.

Bighorn Staff Expectations:
- Be proactive in physical, emotional, and spiritual health.
- Be open to working collaboratively.
- Expected to invest in relationships with fellow staff, campers, students and interns.
- Commit to raising the salary amount decided on through budget planning with Mobilization Director.
- Assist with dishes, cabin cleaning, and work days when appropriate.
-Is willing to learn, loves people of all ages and has a consistent devotional life.

Time:  Full-Time Year Round
