Director of Operations
The Salvation Army has a job opening for a Director of Operations for Camp Heart O’ Hills located in Welling, Oklahoma.
Plans, schedules, assigns, monitors and supervises the day-to-day operations and services of the Heart O’ Hills Camp and Conference Center to include all buildings, equipment, grounds repair/maintenance, housekeeping, rental bookings, guest services, and clerical functions. Develops Camp policies and procedures and ensures compliance to the same. Oversees budget and all purchases of camp supplies and equipment. As needed, serves as host to outside rental groups and liaison to Divisional Headquarters staff for Camp functions and events.
Education and Experience
Certified Contractor or equivalent experience and/or certification. Two years course work from a vocational or technical school in heating, ventilation, and air condition, plumbing, electrical, and construction trades, and seven years progressively responsible experience performing skilled maintenance and repair work for commercial buildings and grounds with at least two years in a supervisory capacity and two years’ experience operating a comparable sewage treatment facility, and/or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities.
Valid OK Driver’s License and Contractor license.
