Assistant Camp Manager
Ochoco Christian Conference Center is a new camp in Central Oregon. 2018 was our first full year of operation, and 2019 is likely to hit double last year's camper days (calendar is currently at 150%). It is time to grow our staff! The Assistant Camp Manager position would encompass a variety of areas/duties, in general - 25% program development, 25% admin & tech support, and 50% general camp needs (guest group hosting, maintenance, marketing, etc.). More specifically, duties would include: recruit & support camp deans to run program camps, develop & pursue relationships with new churches / ministry partners / youth leaders, etc., develop and operate ropes course/adventure property, train & oversee lifeguards & pool maintenance, share guest group hosting responsibilities, troubleshoot & develop camp IT networking, market program camps and ministry partner / rentals via website and social media, assist with overall camp development & improvements, assist with development of and supervision of/ministry to volunteers / intern program / seasonal staff, assistance with various maintenance tasks (snow removal, mowing, etc.). We are looking for someone who is passionate about camp ministry both behind-the-scenes and upfront, willing to learn, with a variety of skills wrapped up in a servant's heart.
