Maintenance Staff Member
Michindoh Conference Center is a year-round Christian Camp and Conference Center located in South Central Michigan. We are situated on 250 acres of rolling hills, a private spring fed lake, and beautiful wooded areas. We serve guest groups ranging in size from 20 to 700, with total occupancy at times reaching over 1,000. We have guests of all ages but 60-70% are high school age or younger. We primarily serve church and parachurch organizations that hold their ministries at our facilities, but we also offer our own Outdoor Education School, and evangelistic camping programs.
Our facilities department is involved with the capital development of our property, putting up new buildings and structures to support our growing ministry. They also maintain a vast number of dorms, cabins, conference facilities, machinery, and both recreation and work vehicles.
We are looking for a staff member with experience and training in multiple areas of construction, maintenance and building trades. We are especially in need of an individual with experience in HVAC installation and repair, along with knowledge in working with electrical. We have more than 100 compressor providing AC and Refrigeration throughout our facilities that require regular maintenance and or replacement.
A desire to use ones gifts to serve the Lord and to be a part of a community of believers working together to bring glory to God and to make Him known is a must.
