Maintenance Director

Lake Lavon Camp & Conference Center is seeking a full-time maintenance director director at our 55 acre camp.

This is a ministry position. The maintenance director will live on site in a 2/1 house with all utilities paid. This is part of the salary package.

We are seeking an maintenance director at our 55 acre camp. This is a year round position that requires exceptional organization, superior customer service, and a heart for service. This position someone with all-around maintenance skills. Ideal candidate will have at least 5 years grounds and maintenance experience and be a self-starter.

As with camp life, we are often doing things not in our job description - helping with recruiting of summer staff, working special events in whatever capacity is needed, or simply serving alongside our fellow staff to help them accomplish more immediate tasks.This position is the face of camp and a liaison for retreat guests, parents, campers and the our team. Being in the office requires a team player who possesses great people, computer and organization skills. This person must be creative, flexible and able to multi-task. Most importantly, working in the office requires someone who is trustworthy, encouraging, and has a heart of service. This role will work side-by with the executive director and learn how the camp works from the inside out. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years experience in an office environment. The position is part of a ministry team that lives and serves on the camp grounds though out the year. Salary includes housing and utilities. Must be able to pass a background check.
