Laurelville, Mount Pleasant, PA, is looking for a full-time Program Director. Qualified candidates must have a passion for Christian service and have a minimum of one-two years of experience.
Salary: $25,000-$27,000, commensurate with experience
Housing: available on-site (optional)
Benefits: Health & life insurances, vacation, meals (while on-duty) & facility usage.
Work Schedule: 75% of work time falls within a normal 40 hour week. 25% of work time occurs evenings and weekends.
Expected Skills: college degree, plus 1-2 years of experience, people-person, and a heart for Christian service. Candidate must be detail-oriented and have strong administrative, communication, coordination, and organizational skills. Ability to manage multiple projects at once.
Preferred Skills: core knowledge of the Mennonite faith, marketing (including social media), web maintenance
Description of Position: The Program Director develops, plans & guides Laurelville sponsored programs and events for both adults (Road Scholar, Music and Worship Leaders Retreat, etc). and youth (Summer Camp, Winterville, etc.). In this role, the Program Director supervises program staff, provides guidance and communication to resource personnel, and initiates marketing efforts. The Program Director works directly with the Executive Director and serves as a member of the Leadership Team.
