Housekeeping Manager (HM)
Accountable to: Maintenance Coordinator (MC)
Accountable for: Leading, Managing, and Holding Accountable Housekeeping Team, Hiring and Training of Hourly Staff, Setting and Managing Standards and Procedures, Maintaining a Proactive Pest Control Plan, and Housekeeping Budget
Supervises: Housekeeping Hourly Staff

Attend all staff meetings and assist in leading them occasionally.
Meet regularly with the MC.
Recruit, train, and supervise hourly staff to maintain high standards of cleanliness and functionality.
Coordinate the Housekeeping schedule with the Reservations and Retreats Team.
Manage all lost and found items and coordinate with office staff in getting items returned to guests.
Develop and oversee proactive pest control action plan.
Set and maintain an annual budget for Housekeeping.
When possible, be open and available to assist in other areas of ministry at NLR.
Seek out a mentor/coach and meet with them monthly.
Actively supervise, coach, and support hourly staff. This includes regular meetings, leading annual evaluations, and revisiting employees’ personal, spiritual, and professional goals regularly throughout the year.
Develop a strategy to challenge and equip staff vocationally, emotionally, and spiritually.
Education and experience: The NLR HM should be a college graduate and/or have significant experience in housekeeping and leading others.
Time: Full-Time Year Round
Salary: Paid - Must Raise Partial Support
