Adventure Recreation & Outdoor Education Coordinator

Position Description

Our Adventure Recreation & Outdoor Education Coordinator provides safe and quality instruction in the following areas; High Adventure Ropes Course, Zip Line, Archery, BB Guns, Paintball and Waterfront.

What you will be hired to do:

• Demonstrate Christian Maturity

• Be passionate about Christian camping and the Sugar Pine mission

• Be excited to work weird hours including weekends and some evenings

• Effectively manage all aspects of our Adventure Recreation Program

• Consistently lift up to 50 pounds and traverse uneven terrain.

A.) Obtain a valid First Aid/CPR with blood borne pathogens certification

a.) Ensure that all Adventure Recreation facilities (including the Game Room)
meet code, ACA Accreditation Standards and insurance standards

b.) Ensure that all Adventure Recreation team members are fully trained in
operations and safety as required by code, ACA Accreditation Standards

c.) Collaborate with the Director of Program Ministries regarding team shift
assignments and other assigned duties when not operating Adventure
Recreation activities.

Effectively Manage our Outdoor Education Program

a.) Analyzes and evaluate existing service delivery systems and collaborate with
Department Managers to improve the guest experience. Advocates and
provides guidance to a shared vision of exceptional guest-centered service.

b.) Effectively coordinate Outdoor Education guest registration, including inquiry
conversions, and enter and maintain data in appropriate software applications

c.) Acquire and analyze quantitative and qualitative data (i.e. guest satisfaction
survey, guest communications) to evaluate service and product delivery.
