Job Title: Executive Director

I. Position Summary:

To provide exceptional servant leadership to further the mission and growth of Sugar Pine Christian Camps

II. What You Will Be Hired To Do:

• Model, uphold and communicate Christian principles in your personal life

• Model, uphold and communicate Christian principles in your leadership of the

• Develop and implement strategic initiatives and implement systems to further
the mission of the Camp in partnership with the Board of Directors

• Oversee fiscal management and donor operations to provide annual surplus
funding for short and long-term goals

• Ensure commitment to and compliance with all applicable County, State and
Federal laws and regulations and remain in compliance with The American
Camp Association Accreditation Standards

• Proactively address risk assessment in the internal and external environment to
protect and promote the Camp's interests

• Implement Talent Acquisition systems to recruit, nurture and retain quality team
members with an emphasis on training the next generation of leaders

• In conjunction with the employee team: design, deliver, and evaluate camp
programs to meet the needs and interests of campers and ensure their delivery
in a safe and quality manner

• Design and implement marketing strategies to build brand awareness to
increase camper attendance and camp usage

• Manage property development and maintenance to ensure stewardship of
current resources, minimize deferred maintenance and identify future growth

• Maintain a culture of transparency and communication throughout the internal
and external organization

Ill. Preferred Qualifications

• Have an active faith in Jesus Christ and desire to see employees and campers
come to know and grow in Him

• Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree is preferred

• Proven previous experience in a senior leadership position

• Demonstrated ability to develop and implement successful strategic plans

• Proven application of financial strategies and finance-related performance

• Strong aptitude for verbal and written communication, presentation, and
relationship development

• Experience working with local, state, federal and other regulatory agencies

IV. Board of Directors and the Executive Director Relationship

The Executive Director has full discretionary power to execute and affect the by-laws, policies, and directives of the Sugar Pine Christian Camps' Board of Directors. Accountability relating to employees and operations is considered the authority of the Executive Director.

V. Compensation:

• Regionally competitive salary based on related qualifications

• Benefits: negotiable

• On-site housing may be provided
