High School Crew
The SAMBICA summer team is committed to the modeling of Christ in word and deed. Being on the front lines of ministry requires a deep passion for Christ. With different roles in the ministry, we are all united to serve Christ, the campers and each other. All team members are a vital part of creating a great experience for the campers and are not limited to their specialized team. Though focused on their specialized team the expectation is that we commit to each other and the greater ministry at SAMBICA, therefore serving in all areas of camp.
This crew will be responsible for helping in various areas of camp for 20-40 hours per week, helping camp to function and thrive. They will be hired as part of this crew, then assigned to a specific position(s) based on preferences and job availability as the summer approaches (e.g. April, May, or June). Some of the areas these high school students may serve in include: Kitchen or Dining Hall assistant, Camp Care, Facilities, Dock hand, Activities Assistant, Lifeguard, Day Camp Counselor, or other roles as assigned. In addition to being paid, the high school crew will get to participate in discipleship and many of the fun camp activities (like waterfront!). These students must be eager to learn and mature in their faith and have a desire to grow spiritually, in relationship, and professionally. Weekly Wage: $150 plus food and activities.
