Guest Programs Manager

Desired Outcome:
Create and implement multiple methods for SAMBICA to reach youth for Christ during the school year. Create an environment where guests experience Jesus Christ through our, “go the extra mile” service. Surprise & delight! (Col 3:23-24)

Statement of Purpose:
SAMBICA is a light on the lake, inspiring youth to a relationship with Jesus Christ.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree preferred
- Two or more years of Youth Programming or Hospitality industry experience
- Strong customer service and/or sales experience
- Ability to communicate and work with diverse groups of youth organizations
- Outgoing personality
- A servant’s heart
- Demonstrated ability to be flexible and adaptable
- Strong multi-tasking abilities
- Excellent organizational skills and self motivated.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, and standard office equipment
- Offers multiple solutions to obstacles and challenges
- Follower of Jesus Christ, maintaining a courteous Christ like attitude in dealing with staff and SAMBICA guests. Supports the mission and vision of SAMBICA and is willing to honor its principles and practices.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Marketing to and communication with potential guest groups
- Create and implement programming for youth-oriented guest groups
- Aggressively market SAMBICA’s hospitality services to youth-oriented groups
- Follow-up and re-book groups
- Give preview tours for interested groups
- Manage booking, contracts, and billing correspondence with guest groups
- Ensure that guest group needs are planned for and met
- Oversee all housekeeping and accommodations needs, including training Interns and staff
- Training, scheduling, and oversight of interns and staff in the service of guest groups
- Communicate with the Head Chef and the entire team relevant details for each group
- Provide hosting service to groups and create “surprise & delight” experiences
- Manage dining hall experience and front of house personnel during meals
- Set and meet budget goals for both income and expenses related to hospitality
- Maintain a overall customer satisfaction rating of 90% with 75% of guests being youth (K through College)
- Other responsibilities as assigned by the leadership team
