Fabrication Technician; The Lights of Christmas

General Description: Provide team support in the production of the technical work related to fabrication, repair and installation of lighting for The Lights of Christmas. This could include RGB design and programming. Assist with the creation of and fabrication and assembly of sets and scenes, new or ones already designed.

General Qualifications: Beyond the general qualifications for being on WBC staff, we are looking for a person who is a self starter and follows through with excellent attention to detail; flexible, teachable, a team player, and able to work with a minimum of supervision. This person must work well under pressure and meet multiple deadlines as well as demonstrate cooperation with colleagues and supervisors. Must possess strong problem-solving skills, a basic understanding of electrical systems, wiring and lighting technology. Will be primary operator of the Boom lift and must be comfortable operating large and small equipment.

Specifics & Compensation: This position begins as soon as filled. This is a year-round, full-time, hourly position. Pay range will be $17.31 to $18.86/hour DOE. On campus housing may be available. See our website for more information and the application to apply!
