High School Crew Supervisor
The SAMBICA summer team is committed to the modeling of Christ in word and deed. Being on the front lines of ministry requires a deep passion for Christ. With different roles in the ministry, we are all united to serve Christ, the campers and each other. All team members are a vital part of creating a great experience for the campers and are not limited to their specialized team. Though focused on their specialized team the expectation is that we commit to each other and the greater ministry at SAMBICA, therefore serving in all areas of camp.
This position is responsible for supervising and coordinating the High School Staff program through the supervision of high school-aged staff, the communication with supervisors and other areas of camp, and the intentional planning and development of the students in the program. They will plan daily and weekly events, Bible studies, and one-on-one mentoring sessions with the H.S. staff and coach and lead this group of staff in doing their responsibilities well, growing spiritually, relationally, and personally in the process. They will help in different roles around camp and will set an example of leadership for developing leaders. Youth ministry leadership and managerial experience is required as well as an eagerness to serve in a variety of roles. Lifeguard certification, boat drivers license, King County Food Handlers Card, challenge course or rock climbing experience and activities management experience is a plus. Weekly Wage: $230, plus room and board.
