Program Maintenance

Camp Echoing Hills serves adults and children with disabilities during the summer and year round. There is opportunity to use this position as an internship in several fields of study. Education/Special Education, Nursing/Healthcare, Ministry, Physical/Occupational Therapy...etc

Staff must be 18 years or older with a high-school diploma or GED

This position is full time for the summer camp season.

The Program Maintenance Person is responsible for the set up and tear down of all camp activities, sound equipment, and other equipment necessary to meet camp needs. This position will assist the Operations/Activities Director with providing leadership, compliance and safety responsibilities and assisting in other program areas as necessary and fulfilling the mission and purpose of the Camp Ministry. Teamwork with co-workers and volunteers is important in order to ensure camper needs are met and the campers have a meaningful and enjoyable camping experience.

Example of daily tasks:
• Assisting with all camp activities
• Running Love and Learn Activities
• Assisting with minor maintenance issues
• Assisting with registration of campers
• Helping in the cabins with campers when needed

Job Type: Seasonal/Temporary

Qualifications: Staff must be 18 years or older. Must have a valid Driver’s License
Staff will stay at camp during the summer camp season and have time off over the weekend. (Each camp week runs Sun – Thurs)
