Volunteer Counselor

Camp Echoing Hills is a non-profit Christian camp serving adults and children with physical and intellectual disabilities. Our camp promotes a strong sense of community and takes great pride in building relationships with the campers we serve.

Volunteer Cabin Counselors – 17 to 25-year-old volunteers are to unconditionally love and accept their camper and can help care for all of their camper’s daily needs. To be an effective counselor, you must be willing to put aside your own personal desires and needs during your week of camp. You must be willing to share God’s Word during cabin devotions. The counselors live in the cabins with their campers and are assigned the duty of assisting and teaching their campers. (We do not wish to have any volunteers doing anything that they may not be comfortable doing such as assisting with bathroom needs, showering or changing a camper.)
