Accounts Payable (A/P) Bookkeeper
Hume Lake Christian Camps is looking for an individual with a passion for ministry and a desire to serve others, with a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and experience in accounts payable. The A/P Bookkeeper is responsible to see that all invoices are paid, and job functions performed, in a timely and accurate manner. In addition, the A/P Bookkeeper posts and balances all credit card/vendor statements on a monthly basis, and assists with monthly and yearly reporting.
This position requires knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel and Word), ten-key operation, and basic computer skills. The individual must be flexible, willing to learn new procedures and systems, work under pressure and adapt quickly to changes within the accounting team environment and deadline requirements.
Applicant must possess good communication skills, both verbal and written, in order to maintain a good relationship with vendors and staff. The individual must also be organized and detailed and must be able to prioritize, multi-task, and streamline. Applicant must have the ability to work on repetitive tasks for long periods of time with minimal supervision. A Bachelor’s Degree and experience are preferred. This is a full-time position with all applicable benefits and is based in our administrative office in Fresno, CA.
