CAMP-of-the-WOODS is a 115 year old ministry located in the heart of the Adirondack Mountains. Don’t let the word “camp” fool you, we are a modern and full service Christian Family Resort and Conference Center. Over $30 million has been invested in recent years.We have 2 main seasons here at CAMP-of-the-WOODS. Our summer season runs from late June through Labor Day. We run 10 – 1 week family focused long vacations where we bring in internationally known speakers where adults can hear great teachings each morning while concurrently their children go to age appropriate Christian Education (Kindergarten through Senior’s in High School). We plan lots of activities during the day that are on-site or off-site; activities such as canoe trips, hikes, games, competitions, our weekly carnival plus much-much more. We’re on 90+ acres with ~90 building that can house families of various sizes. We have beds for 1,300 people and a typical summer week we have 700-850 guests and ~300 staff. Conference Season:
From Labor Day through Mid-June we act as the venue for churches and Christian organizations to hold retreats here. Last season we had some 8,000 people during conference season pass through our gates,; they included the whole range of retreats, youth, men, women , couples and leadership retreats. We have hosted groups as small as 8 and as large as 800+ with most weekends being 150-300 people. During conference season groups bring their own speakers and plan their own events while we provide the venue and the meals and offer many recreational options during the free time. We treat weekends as either “adult weekends” or as “youth weekends” with the difference being the services provided, the quality of the menu as well as the overall ambiance. Whatever your type of group – your time here will be spirit filled and fun.

During the summer, we can take care of up to 850 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 600 guests. Our winter capacity is 500. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 600 guests.
