Information

Charis Hills is a Christian Recreational and Educational Residential Summer Camp for Children with Learning Differences where we seek to glorify God and serve campers through what His Word teaches. We unapologetically emphasize a Christian message that is Biblical, positive and affirming, yet non-denominational.
We consider learning differences to be what may interfere with a child's successful academic experience, including but not limited to: HF autism, Asperger's, ADD, ADHD, and other learning differences.
Our program is designed to maximize opportunities for social interaction and social skill development throughout the camp experience.
Our focus is on building self-confidence and independence in children while depending on the Lord.
At Charis Hills, children experience fun, adventure, challenges, and unconditional acceptance. Campers return home with a deeper faith as well as achieving a greater sense of independence, responsibility, and self-esteem.

Recognizing that some guests have special needs and may not be able to participate in regular camping programs, we set aside camp sessions specifically for guests with the following conditions:

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:

During the summer, we can take care of up to 100 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 100 guests. Our winter capacity is 100. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 100 guests.
