Located between Lenoir and North Wilkesboro in North Carolina, YMCA Camp Harrison at Herring Ridge gives kids ages 6-16 the chance to make life-long memories on over 2,000 acres of land, streams, and trails just 90 miles from Charlotte in the mountains of North Carolina. When someone joins us at YMCA Camp Harrison, they can expect to enjoy God’s creation, build relationships and challenge themselves as they learn new skills. Our campers develop lifelong friendships by embracing authenticity and accepting their differences. While many of our visitors join us as guests, they leave as family. When traditional overnight camp is not in session, YMCA Camp Harrison operates family camps, weekend camps and as a retreat center for groups of all kinds.

We are set up to handle the following group sizes in the various seasons:
During the summer, we can take care of up to 0 guests. In the spring, we can accommodate 240 guests. Our winter capacity is 0. Finally, in fall, we have enough room for 240 guests.
