Landscape of the Bible in America

 

Barna partnered with the American Bible Society to interview more than 14,000 American adults about the “State of the Bible.” Research conducted over six years shows three major changes among Americans’ perceptions of the Bible. Rising rates of skepticism, an increasingly self-fulfillment mentality and “the explosive growth of digital tools such as Bible apps, daily reading plans, study resources and online communities offer unprecedented access to the Scriptures” the Barna article states.
