Conference Association
Indiana is known as the Crossroads of America where we see the country criss-cross across our great state to many destinations. We have a wide variety of attractions from the sand dunes and many beautiful lakes in the north, to wooded rolling hills in the south, with many corn fields spread out in between. Our state has a variety of year round experiences to enjoy - whether being in the great out doors or many unique settings for the indoor enthusiast. Indiana has had a long deep tradition in the camping and retreat ministry.
Whether you are looking for a more rustic adventure of one of our youth camps or for the premier conference centers Indiana has a lot to offer. Like our deep history in camping we have a deep heritage in seeing lives changed through the message of Jesus Christ that has been shared across our state. Many Christian leaders believe that the “Camp” is one of the most effective ways to communicate God’s love and the need for a relationship with the creator of the universe. In a week of camp we can see more time spent in learning and hearing the Bible than many can see in a year in a church setting. We have also found that many ministry leaders have gotten the call to go into the ministry during a camp meeting.
The camps in Indiana allow you to disconnect from the intrusions of everyday life that are causing you to get over loaded. Is it possible that deep down in your soul you need to shut down and restart? Camps are a great place to disconnect from the world and to reconnect with God and each other in the beauty of God’s creation. It is not the magic pill, but we have found that when you reconnect with God you rediscover your joy.
The Indiana Christian Camp and Conference Association (3CA) is dedicated to helping camps better serve their guests by equipping them with the many resources that make them more effective at this calling. The Indiana 3CA cabinet continues to provide training and learning experiences that will help camps share the gospel by being the best that they can be.
We pray that God is using the Indiana camps to their fullest and that we see the state of Indiana be a mission field for sharing his love and grace while using us in an outdoor setting.
