Platform Speakers and Artists

The general sessions are intended to inspire and encourage spiritual and professional growth. Dec. 6, 7:30–9:30 p.m.
Jeff Foxworthy
Jeff is one of the most respected and successful comedians in the country. He is the largest selling comedy-recording artist in history, a multiple Grammy Award nominee and best-selling author of 11 books. Widely known for his redneck jokes, his act goes well beyond that to explore the humor in everyday life, family interactions and human nature, a style that has been compared to Mark Twain’s. Jeff is currently the host of the game show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?” on the FOX television network. When he was 7, he gave his life to Jesus Christ while attending a small Baptist church in Knoxville, Tenn. Over the years, he has used his craft to bless countless ministries and non-profit organizations through his appearance at fundraisers and national gatherings like the 2010 CCCA National Conference. He resides in Atlanta with his wife, Gregg, and their two daughters, Jordan and Jules.

Audrey Assad Audrey Assad
Audrey is a singer-songwriter who is carving out her own unique path in the music industry and opening hearts to God along the way. Shortly after her high school graduation, Audrey set aside the notion of pursuing an English degree or studying fashion design, and began leading worship in the foyer of a church she didn’t even attend. That led to local gigs, worship events and a four-song demo. Next came a move to Nashville and a five-song EP, Fireflies, recorded in 2008. Her July 13 full-length album debut, The House You’re Building, is a collection of piano-driven pop and worship. Audrey now lives in Tempe, Ariz.
