Better Together
This year, the CCCA National Conference is designed to not only help you advance your ministry efforts, but also to strengthen the significant connections and sense of unity with your staff team. In addition, you’ll experience team spirit on a broader scale with an extended family of Christian camp and conference leaders with whom you can share ideas, strategies and dreams.
Here are a few examples:
-
- At no additional charge, attend the Head Start Workshop “Teamwork, Character and Leadership: Building an Outstanding Community” with Jim Cain and John Losey on Monday, Dec. 6, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Come early or stay late to take a field trip with your team to area attractions such as Biltmore Estate, Billy Graham Training Center and Great Smoky Mountains National Park.
- Plan a staff devotional at the T.W. Wilson Prayer Garden, surrounded by the natural beauty of mountain laurel and rhododendron.
- Team Initiatives are a series of activities Ridgecrest designed to facilitate communication, teamwork and group building. (Rate: $12.50 per person per two-hour session. Minimum eight persons per group.)
- Challenge your fellow staff members to a game of laser tag. Both indoor and outdoor settings are available for play at Ridgecrest. (Rate: $18 per person per one-hour session.)
- Play a game of basketball or volleyball in the Ridgecrest rec center.
Advanced reservations a minimum of two weeks prior to the event are required for Team Initiatives and Laser Tag. Call Ridgecrest to learn details of these opportunities at (828) 669-4844. All recreation activities are first-requested, first-served.
