Events for Friday, April 9, 2010:

Event:Film School

Date(s): Friday, April 09, 2010
Saturday, April 10, 2010
Time: 7:00:00 PM - 7:00:00 PM
Location: Skyview Ranch, Millersburg, Ohio
Description: Want to make a movie? Learn from a master of the craft while you work with others to actually produce a short film at Skyview Ranch. Mike Pritt has done work for MTV, Nike, ESPN, Lebron James and Diane Sawyer, among others. He’ll bring his talents and a large truckload of tools to help you learn what movie pros do to bring their imagination to life. This year, Mike is going to be using the Canon 7D, the dSLR that's shaking up the video world currently. Combined with his professional lighting and sound equipment, the sky is the limit for this year's Film School. All attendees should plan on bringing their own script to be reviewed by the group. The best (or most doable) script will be broken down and then be produced, from start to finish. Through this process, students will not only get to see these tools and practices put to use, but will get to work with the equipment themselves.
More Information: The price for this event is $199. This covers all food and lodging, the use of equipment and all the sessions. This event will run with the same intensity of a college-level class, but teens 14 and up are welcome if they are up to the challenge. This is your chance to get a taste of the broadcast and film industry. Don't miss out. Register online at https://svrforms.wufoo.com/forms/film-school-registration/. Have questions?
