Food Service Supervisor-Rainier Campus
Plan menus, inventory, order, prepare and clean for guests and campers. Working alongside and managing all FT staff that may work in the kitchen, summer kitchen staff and interns that may work in the kitchen. Overseeing and participating in cleaning projects and managerial tasks necessary for food service upkeep (changing deep fryer shortening, cleaning grease traps, taking inventory, maintaining equipment, writing work orders etc).
Responsible for cleanliness, readiness and effectiveness of all food service areas and operations on the Rainier campus as determined by the Food Service Director. Responsible to insure the facilities comply with all local and state health regulations. Responsible for documenting various aspects of food service (i.e. waste, temperatures, shelf life, and more) in order to make the department more efficient.
Other responsibilities could include corresponding with guests, service team members, developing & maintaining recipes, various trainings, doing dish cleans, preparing meals.
