Food Services Manager

To advance the purpose of InterVarsity, this position will contribute to an overall excellent camping experience by ensuring the planning, preparation and serving of healthy and appealing meals and snacks to camp guests. Ensuring that all meals are prepared according to legislated safety guidelines while maintaining the daily operations of food service, directing staff and providing a satisfactory dining experience.

QUALIFICATIONS

Annually affirm InterVarsity's Statement of Faith
Agree with InterVarsity’s Code of Conduct and Theological Summary of Human Sexuality
College degree or equivalent experience
2-5 years’ experience cooking for large groups (100+ people) preferred
Working knowledge of industrial kitchen equipment
Flexibility to work irregular and extended hours as required
Demonstrated ability and commitment to work in a multigenerational and multicultural team environment
Valid driver’s license
Food Safety Certificate or willing to become certified within the first year
First Aid and CPR (adult & infant) or willing to become certified within the first year
Food and hospitality background preferred
InterVarsity background or other parachurch campus ministry experience preferred

Time:  Full-Time Year Round
Salary:  Paid - Must Raise Partial Support
